Maze Hill

These pots were made during the six months I was an assistant at Maze Hill Pottery. This was a great learning experience and was a huge catalyst in my throwing ability. With huge thanks to Lisa Hammond who graciously allowed for me to undertake a gas firing with her apprentices which resulted in the pots above. Whilst at Maze Hill I had my first experience taking part in firing the soda kiln. Spraying soda from pressurised bottles in to the fire engulfed port holes is something I wont ever forget.
